Fruity rice puff chocolates

I’ve been into bonbon/pralines/little chocolate or whatever-we-call-them lately again, and while browsing google for chocolate I found such cute pictures of bonbons, I decided to make my own recipe to it! Later on I realised the recipes really looked quite a lot alike. It was kind of obvious what went in there actually. For the link to the recipe click here! It has a lot of other nice recipes on there that I just have to try some time too!!

A few notes on the recipe: For the chocolate, you can take 100 gram total. I like doing half milk and half dark, since it doesnt get so sweet and not so bitter at the same time. A little bit of both!
For a little not on the rice puffs: it’s just an indication, at some point you’ll find that it’s just enough. Im not quite sure about how much is needed, I ended up with a quarter cup rice puffs, raisins and nuts left I believe. You can also substitute these with cornflakes if they don’t sell rice puffs in your local supermarket. Or scratch this and add 50 grams of different kind of nuts and berries.
Actually, you can cover anything with chocolate really, and make it look like a little bonbon. I’ve just realised this. That’s a whole new world of recipes opening up!

Ingredients:
50 gram milk chocolate
50 gram dark chocolate
2 tablespoons (maple) syrup
50 gram butter
30 grams rice puffs
50 gram raisins
50 gram nuts
candied cherries

1. Double-boil the chocolate in a small pan. When all the chocolate is melted, stir in the maple syrup and butter until well blended and take the mixture off the heat.
2. Mix the rice puffs, raisins and nuts in a bowl.
3. Poor over the chocolate and mix!
4. With two spoons dump little lumps of the mixture in bonbon baking cups and add a half candied cherry on top. Leave it in the fridge to cool until the chocolate is set.

Ah, I decided we’re making this a short blog. Simple recipe, short blog, not much comments, that’s okay right?
Of course, if I have to think of something to say: recently I’ve added another taster to my collection. Every Sunday a little girl and her mom come over to our place to help my sister with the horses and get lessons and the mom really loves to taste the things I make and give me a lot of compliments. I gave her some brownie bonbons home last time, she said they were gone within a day! (I never posted those brownie-bonbon-like sweets, they looked horrible! I was kinda embarrassed.)
