I’m the kind of person who’s eyes will start to sparkle
as soon as I hear food. I can’t help it. For years my passion for food has
driven me to write this blog and share local foods, classical dishes and exotic
desserts, but most of all sugar. Moonpies4U has been a perfect way for me to
share and organize my recipes and occasionally brag about my skills (I can’t
help that either!). Whenever I’m not baking or taking pictures, I study
Psychology or spend time with my family in my home in The Netherlands. My two
sisters and parents provide a lot of support and are always willing to taste my
experiments (or even eat it all!). Whenever my cooking fails me, we have a lot
of chickens, cats, dogs, bunnies and even horses who never seem to mind even
the most horrible food you could manage to conjure.

All the recipes you find posted are tested by me. All the
food and pictures are made by me unless specifically stated otherwise. I am
neither a professional baker, cook or photographer, but I learn with every post
I post. For those who are interested: I use a Nikon D5100 with 18-55 mm lens. The
recipes on Moonpies4U are adaptations from recipes I find in one of my
cookbooks, from the internet, magazines or sometimes from my own imagination.
Whenever I can, I provide a link to the original recipe, but do not hesitate to
ask if you wish to know the origin of a recipe.
